Melodic Structures: Architecture as a Playable Instrument

A stage set featuring headliner @betweenfriends and USC artists @smalltalk.band and @_aylaclaire

As the creative director and set designer, I developed Melodic Structures as an exploration of how I associate music to certain memories. By transforming analog musical devices: boom box, vinyl record player, cassette tapes, and a polaroid camera to freeze these memories into architectural structures. More than a backdrop, the set shapes the experience for both artists and audience, turning the stage into a playable instrument that adds to the performance.
